As a full time wedding DJ & master of ceremonies Its always nice when someone says good things about you, so I was bowled over last year when my coach, mentor & good friend Mark Ferrell from the Marbecca Method posted a blog about me.

“Alan Marshall is an extraordinary person. I can write that because I know him personally and can say that he is a friend — a term I don’t use lightly. That fact, however, doesn’t blind me to the truth about who he is, but rather magnifies in my mind his genuine character. As a coach and mentor, I’ve had the privilege of seeing Alan’s personal development over the course of 4 years. In the crucible of the workshop environment, in the privacy of personal consultations, and as a guest in his home, I’ve come to know Alan as a dedicated person who is tenacious in his quest for excellence, not only in his chosen profession as a Master of Ceremonies, Party Host, and Disc Jockey, but also as a husband, father, and friend. There is little Alan wouldn’t do to excel in any of those roles.

I’ve watched as he’s delighted audiences, wedding couples, and their families with his wit and charm, while tastefully emphasizing important moments and traditions throughout the wedding day — something that is so very important to these occasions, but sadly are overlooked by most mobile discos. Conscientious and caring, he backs it up with conceit-less talent. Alan throws himself into a client’s event wholeheartedly, paying very close attention, not only to the necessary details, but also to the vision and desires of his unique clientèle. He is truly a resource and guide to be consulted and counted on. He’s an expert in the field of wedding traditions and protocol. They truly don’t know how lucky they are until the event is completed and exceeded their wildest imaginations! Alan’s abilities go far beyond “proficiency.”

He offers so much more than music and lighting, but those items are certainly not neglected in the least. As someone who has invested much of his adult life to entertainment and weddings, I can wholeheartedly recommend Alan Marshall. As a coach, trainer, presenter,  and mentor to talent around the world, I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed in his work and his superiority above the average disco provider. You can expect that his fee will be higher than “average,” which is commensurate to a “higher than average” performance. That said, I can attest to the fact that you will receive far greater value than had you contracted an “average performer” at an “average price.” Beyond the adage, ” you get what you pay for,” in the case of Mr. Alan Marshall, you’ll get much more than you pay for.

But don’t just take my word for it. Listen to one of Alan’s clients (Sorry for the audio quality – listen carefully). This video was taken the day following the wedding when we were serendipitously seated with the parents of the groom who were raving about Alan. My wife quickly asked if they wouldn’t mind if she video-recorded their comments. They were only too happy to oblige:”
