Why Do We Need to Meet with a Wedding DJ?
Planning a wedding is an exciting and joyous time, filled with endless possibilities and dreams of a perfect day. So why should you take the time to meet with your wedding DJ before booking them? Well, let’s look at it this way: if you don’t meet with your DJ, you may end up with a generic, “cookie-cutter” wedding. They won’t know anything about your day or how you envision your special day to be. How can they, if they’ve never met you?
That’s why I always make it a point to meet, or at least Zoom/Skype/FaceTime video chat, with the couples I work with. I understand that it may seem like a hassle, but it’s the only way I can truly grasp what’s important to you and how we can make a difference together on your wedding day.
During our informal meeting, whether it’s a video chat via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime, I take the time to share photos and videos that may help and inspire you. Before our meeting, I’ll send you a short questionnaire to guide your thoughts on specific areas. This way, we can dive deep into your preferences, discuss your favourite music, and plan for the ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening party. I’ll also provide guidance based on my experience from previous weddings, ensuring that the music selection resonates with your guests.
Don’t worry if you’re not able to meet in person. I’ve worked with couples from all over the world, and we can always schedule virtual meetings to accommodate your needs. From video calls to in-person meetups during your trips back to the UK, I’m committed to making the planning process as seamless as possible.
